In 2006, Thomas Niewohner formed LandCorp, which later would be renamed and positioned as Vision Properties in 2010.  As a real estate brokerage and advisory firm, Vision is a client focused, results driven real estate firm, providing both professional and personalized service to its clients. At the inception of the market downturn in 2008, Thomas changed his focus and developed

a national distressed debt platform targeting the procurement of discounted note sale

opportunities for investors with offices in Denver, Cleveland and New York. Over a two year

period his firm marketed well over a billion dollars in notes to a select network of investors including private equity funds, opportunity funds, institutional investors and high net worth individuals.

In a relationship driven field, he has gained the trust, confidence and loyalty of his clients by the repeated successful identification and capitalization of opportunities coupled with his expertise, insight and integrity as an advisor. He has a particularly keen ability for closing difficult, complicated and/or distressed transactions.

Throughout Thomas’s career as a principal and a consultant, he developed both horizontal and vertical projects and is adept at due diligence, project feasibility assessments, property valuation & investment analysis, obtaining land use entitlements, public/private partnerships, water rights, asset management, and sourcing debt/equity.
